Cold Creek Builders was founded on experience, passion, and a genuine love for creating homes that reflect the people who live in them.

Founder and CEO Tripp Godwin discovered his passion for construction early on while working with a local hometown builder during college breaks. What started as a hands-on introduction quickly grew into a lifelong career — beginning with a national production builder before earning his own builder's license and launching a successful construction business in Charleston, South Carolina.

Despite building a strong career along the coast, the mountains of Western North Carolina always felt like home. After years of visiting, building connections, and envisioning a new chapter, Tripp made the decision to relocate and establish Cold Creek Builders in the area he loved most.
